Which CFMOTO CVT belt do I need?

CFMOTO uses several belts across the lineup, each with its own OEM part number. Our belt listing lets you select by model, from CForce 800XC/1000, UForce 1000/1000XL, ZForce 950/1000, the smaller 400-600 machines, Gen 3 CForce, U10 Pro/Highland, and Z10 all take different belts. Verify the part number against your original belt, or call 330-806-0728 and we will confirm it.

Are your CFMOTO belts genuine RNG Performance belts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our CVT belts are RNG Performance belts made by Mitsuboshi, the same belt RNG specs on its own production clutch builds. They are engineered for CFMOTO machines to maximize power transfer, resist slip, and survive hard trail and mud use.

How do I know when my CFMOTO belt is worn out?

Accepted Answer

Common signs are a burnt-rubber smell, slipping or a loss of top-end power, glazed or shiny belt faces, visible cracks or frayed cogs, and a belt that measures below the CFMOTO minimum width. Do I need special tools to change a CFMOTO belt?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You need a secondary clutch spreader tool to release belt tension so the belt can come off and the new one can seat. We carry the CVTech secondary spreader and spring compressor tools on this page. Attempting to pry the secondary clutch apart without the tool risks damaging the sheaves.

How long should a CFMOTO CVT belt last?

Accepted Answer

With correct clutching, a stock-tire machine, and a proper 20-mile break-in, a quality belt lasts thousands of miles. Belt life drops fast with oversized tires, a worn or mistuned clutch, deep-water submersion, and hard launches. A properly calibrated RNG clutch kit is the single best thing you can do to extend belt life.
