This is the universal CFMOTO secondary clutch compression tool that works with both CVTech and OmniDrive clutch systems. If you own multiple CFMOTO machines, or plan to upgrade to a newer OmniDrive model in the future, this single tool covers every CFMOTO secondary clutch on the market. No need to buy separate compression tools for CVTech and OmniDrive.

WHAT IT DOES

The secondary spring compressor is used to compress the secondary clutch spring so you can remove or install the helix, replace the secondary spring, or perform a full secondary clutch rebuild. The secondary spring is under significant tension, and attempting to service the clutch without a compression tool is dangerous and can result in injury or damaged components. This tool applies controlled, even compression to safely hold the spring while you work on the clutch internals.

WHY YOU NEED IT

Any time you install a Stingray Helix, swap a secondary spring, replace nylon washers, or rebuild the secondary clutch, you need a compression tool. This is not optional, it is required for safe secondary clutch service. Unlike our standard CVTech-only compression tool, this universal version includes built-in compatibility for OmniDrive clutches, so you do not need a separate adapter. One tool does it all.

INSTALLATION

Difficulty: Intermediate. You will also need a Secondary Spreader Tool (CVTech or OmniDrive version, depending on your machine) to spread the clutch sheaves before using the compression tool. Basic hand tools and a workbench are recommended.
