CFMOTO OEM Secondary Spreader Tool (OmniDrive)

The CFMOTO OEM Secondary Spreader Tool for OmniDrive clutches is the required tool for any belt change, helix installation, or secondary clutch service on your OmniDrive-equipped CFMOTO. This tool threads into the secondary (driven) clutch and spreads the two sheave halves apart, releasing belt tension so you can remove and replace the drive belt or access internal components like the helix and secondary spring. Without this OmniDrive spreader tool, you cannot properly service the secondary clutch on newer CFMOTO models.

WHY YOU NEED IT

Every belt change and every clutch service job on an OmniDrive-equipped CFMOTO requires spreading the secondary clutch. The OmniDrive secondary clutch uses a different thread pattern and design than the older CVTech system, so the CVTech spreader tool will NOT work on OmniDrive clutches. You need this specific OmniDrive version. Attempting to use the wrong tool or improvising with pry bars risks damaging the clutch sheaves, bending internal components, or causing injury.

Fits all CFMOTOs with OmniDrive clutch: • U10 Pro, XL, Highland (2025+) • CForce 800-1000 Touring, Overland (Gen 3, 2024+) • UForce 800 XL (2024+) • Z10, Z10 4

This tool does NOT fit CVTech clutch systems. If your CFMOTO has a CVTech clutch (pre-Gen 3 CForce, ZForce, UForce models), see our CVTech Secondary Spreader Tool instead.

INSTALLATION

Difficulty: Easy. Thread the tool into the OmniDrive secondary clutch by hand, then use a wrench to spread the sheaves apart. No additional specialty tools required beyond the spreader itself. Works in conjunction with the Secondary Spring Compressor Tool (with OmniDrive adapter) for full secondary clutch service.
