Why We Recommend This

The secondary clutch spring is under serious preload, and this is the tool that lets you take it apart without it coming at you. Anyone swapping a helix, changing a secondary spring, or replacing nylon blocks needs one. Performance Notes

Compress evenly and keep the clutch square in the tool. The most common mistake is compressing off-axis, which binds the assembly and makes reassembly far harder than it needs to be. Take your time on the way back together, clocking the secondary correctly is what determines shift quality, and it is easy to get wrong in a hurry.
