CFMOTO OEM Secondary Spreader Tool (CVTech)

The CFMOTO OEM Secondary Spreader Tool is the essential clutch tool you need for any belt change, helix swap, or secondary clutch service on your CVTech-equipped CFMOTO. This tool spreads the two halves of the secondary (driven) clutch apart, releasing belt tension so you can remove and replace the drive belt or access internal clutch components like the helix and secondary spring. Without this tool, you cannot properly service your CVTech secondary clutch, it is not optional, it is required.

WHY YOU NEED IT

Every time you change a belt, install a new helix, swap a secondary spring, or perform routine clutch maintenance, the secondary clutch must be spread apart. Attempting to pry the clutch open without the proper spreader tool risks damaging the clutch sheaves, bending internal components, or injuring yourself. This OEM-spec tool is designed to thread directly into the secondary clutch and safely spread the sheaves with controlled, even pressure.

INSTALLATION

Difficulty: Easy. No additional tools required beyond the spreader itself. Thread the tool into the secondary clutch by hand, then use a wrench to spread the sheaves apart. Installation videos are available on our website.
