RNG Performance Clutch Kits: Which One Fits Your CFMOTO

Published July 22, 2026

What Is RNG Performance?

RNG Performance is one of the few companies that designs, machines, and dyno-tests clutch kits specifically for CFMOTO vehicles. That focus is the whole point. Most aftermarket UTV clutch kits are Polaris or Can-Am parts repackaged with different springs, and they do not account for the unique torque curve, clutch geometry, and weight of CFMOTO machines. RNG kits are engineered from the CFMOTO powertrain outward, the billet primary components are CNC-machined in-house, and every calibration is tested on CFMOTO machines rather than adapted from another brand.

Cin City Moto is an authorized RNG Performance dealer. Every RNG kit, helix, spring, and belt we sell is genuine and stocked in Cincinnati, OH, no clones, no gray-market parts, and real phone support if you get stuck during install.

Step One: CVTech or OmniDrive?

Before anything else, you have to know which clutch system your CFMOTO uses, because RNG builds separate kits for each and they are not interchangeable. CVTech (Trailbloc) is the older, more common system, most CForce 400-1000, ZForce 500-1000, and UForce 500-1000 machines with a plastic clutch cover. OmniDrive is the newer system on the 2024+ Gen 3 CForce 800/1000, the U10 Pro and Highland, the UForce 800 XL, and the Z10. Our CFMOTO clutch kit buyer's guide covers how to tell them apart if you are unsure.

RNG CVTech Kits: HELLRAISER Primary and Stingray Helix

For CVTech machines, the core of an RNG setup is the HELLRAISER primary clutch kit paired with a Stingray Helix in the secondary. The HELLRAISER kit replaces the stock weights and spring to fix CFMOTO's soft, jerky factory engagement and deliver smooth, progressive, predictable power off the line. The Stingray Helix then tunes the shift and backshift behavior to match how you ride.

The helix choice is where you dial in the machine. The SRM3 is the all-around multi-angle helix, big low- and mid-range torque without giving up top end, ideal for bigger tires, trails, mud, and general riding. The SRM2 and SRM2-A are torque-first helixes for heavy work, deep mud, and rock crawling. The R1 is the speed helix for fast trails, dunes, and racing. If you want the whole thing spec'd for you, the complete kit bundles the matched primary, helix, spring, and belt for your machine.

RNG OmniDrive Kits: Gen 3 CForce and U10 Pro

OmniDrive machines use dedicated RNG kits calibrated for their specific engines and clutch geometry, and they require OmniDrive-specific tooling, you cannot use CVTech pullers or spreaders on them. The Gen 3 CForce 800/1000 kit is tuned for those sport-oriented ATVs, and the U10 Pro/Highland kit is built for the 1000cc work-and-trail machine. These are not "add a spring" kits; they are complete recalibrations for the OmniDrive platform.

Matching a Kit to Your Riding

Your tire size and how you ride determine the exact build. A stock-tire trail machine wants a smooth, responsive calibration. Add 28-30" tires, a lift, or a snorkel and deep mud, and the clutch needs heavier calibration and a torque-biased helix to keep the belt gripping under the added load. Rather than sell you a generic "stage," RNG and our team build to your specifics, tell us your model, year, tire size, and riding style and we spec the whole package. When in doubt, call 330-806-0728 and we will build the right kit the first time.
