CFMOTO CVTech Trailbloc Outer Clutch

The Primary Clutch Outer Sheave is the outer half of the CVTech Trailbloc primary (drive) clutch on your CFMOTO. This is the stationary sheave that the belt rides against, the inner sheave moves in and out while the outer sheave remains fixed. Together, these two halves squeeze the belt to transfer power from the engine to the secondary clutch and ultimately to the wheels. The outer sheave is a high-wear component that takes constant friction and heat from the belt during every ride.

WHY YOU NEED IT

Over time, the outer sheave develops grooves, scoring, and glazing from belt contact. A worn or damaged outer sheave causes belt slipping, reduced power transfer, premature belt wear, and poor shift quality. If your belt is wearing unevenly, slipping under load, or you can see visible grooves or scoring on the sheave surface, it is time to replace. Running a new belt on a worn sheave dramatically shortens belt life and reduces clutch performance. Replacing the outer sheave restores proper belt contact and clamping pressure for maximum power transfer.

This is also the component to replace if your outer sheave has been damaged from a belt failure, debris, or overheating.

Fits ALL CFMOTO machines with CVTech Trailbloc primary clutch: - CForce 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000 - ZForce 500, 800, 950, 950 HO, 950 HO EX, 1000, Gen 1 and Gen 2 models - UForce 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1000 XL

OEM Part Number: 0JYA-051100. Does NOT fit OmniDrive clutch systems (Gen 3 CForce, U10, UForce 800 XL, Z10).

INSTALLATION

Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced. Requires removing the primary clutch from the machine using a drive pulley bolt and puller. The outer sheave is then separated from the clutch assembly. A press may be needed depending on the bearing fit. Reassemble with blue Loctite on all hardware and torque to factory specifications.
