How do I know when my nylon blocks are worn?

Pull the secondary and look at the block faces where the helix rides. Rounded edges, flat spots, glazing, or any visible melting means they are past due. Rough or inconsistent shifting and a clunky backshift are the on-trail symptoms.

Do these fit OmniDrive secondary clutches?

No. These are for the CVTech driven (secondary) pulley. OmniDrive secondaries use a different internal design. Call us at 513-458-9614 if you are unsure which clutch system your machine runs.

Should I replace these while installing a Stingray Helix?

Yes, absolutely. The secondary is already apart at that point, the blocks are the wear surface the new helix will ride on, and fitting a fresh helix onto worn blocks gives away most of the benefit. It is a few dollars and no extra labor while you are in there.
