CAM Slider, Replaces OEM 0JYA-051004-10000

The CFMOTO CAM Slider is a direct OEM replacement part for the driven (secondary) pulley in your CVTech clutch system. The cam slider rides inside the secondary clutch and controls how the helix translates rotational force into lateral movement of the clutch sheaves. This is the component that your helix presses against as the clutch shifts through its range. When the cam slider wears out, it causes inconsistent shifting, rough engagement, and can lead to premature helix and sheave wear.

WHY YOU NEED IT

Cam sliders are a wear item that should be inspected during any secondary clutch service. Over time, heat and friction wear down the contact surfaces, causing sloppy shift quality and increased play in the secondary clutch. If you are installing a new Stingray Helix or performing a clutch rebuild, replacing the cam slider at the same time is strongly recommended to ensure optimal performance from your new components. Running a new helix on a worn cam slider reduces the performance gains you paid for.

Two OEM part number options are available: 0JYA-051004 and 0JYA-051004-10000. Select the correct part number for your machine when ordering.

INSTALLATION

Difficulty: Intermediate. Requires removing the secondary clutch from the machine and disassembling it using a Secondary Spreader Tool and Secondary Spring Compressor Tool. The cam slider drops into the driven pulley once the helix is removed. Reassemble with blue Loctite on all hardware.

QUIET.....SHHHHH!!!

I had a horrible rattle coming from the belt box on me UFORCE 1000. I'm not really sure if it was like that when I bought it new from the dealer or not but it just did not sound good. I tore into the belt box and removed the cover and started it up and it sounded as though it was coming from the primary. I pulled the outer sheave and weights off and noticed there was play in the weight cover.....enough to cause the rattle. I ordered these sliders from RNG and put them in and the problem is fixed....she is quieter than a chuch mouse. If you have the dreaded clutch rattle then this is probably your fix.
